Unfortunately we had a really poor experience here. We ordered a crab fried rice. The menu said it came with ‘seasonal vegetables’ but it did not. When I asked the staff, they said it was “salt and chicken powder”. Later, they told me it … More

The food was interesting and tasty !
The curry was spicy and flavorful!
When busy, the noise was way too loud, you can’t even talk to others, need to shout out
Service was attentive, but I don’t feel good with the waitress who assumed we won’t order drinks and was going to took the wine glass again since we seated. And also when I requested takeout box the lady need to say twice that need to charge 20 cent per box , I’m more than happy to pay but just don’t estimate someone by its dress.
Overall was good experience.

I tried the South East Asian Fried Rice and Pad Thai from Champi — both were absolutely delicious! The flavours were well-balanced, and the chilli kick was spot on. I also ordered these dishes for my delegation, and they truly enjoyed them. Overall, very satisfying meals — I’ll definitely be coming back for more! More

The food is flavoursome, but the group booking policy is disappointing. For six adults, being forced into a $68+ banquet or a $55 per person minimum spend on the à la carte menu feels unreasonable. More

Very busy restaurant for a Tuesday night, I waited around 30–40 minutes for my meal only two waitresses were working on the floor and kept ignoring for us to order and we almost gave up and left. But since the place had great reviews, we decided to stay.
Looking at the menu, I found the prices quite high (even for a Sydney guy like me!). However, when the food finally came, the portions were big, and everything was very tasty. The Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao were both amazing full of flavour and worth trying. Overall, the food was delicious, but the prices are a bit on the expensive side, and the wait time was long. If you want to try it once, go for it, it’s worth the experience. But for nearly $30 a dish, I probably wouldn’t rush back, especially when Canberra has many other Thai restaurants that are just as tasty and more reasonably priced. Still, recommended!

My favourite restaurant in Canberra!
What can I say - this is hands down my favourite restaurant in Canberra. The owner is incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special.
I have to mention the curry soft-shell crab - I’ve never had anything like it in Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra. The flavour, quality and texture are unmatched. Whenever I visit Canberra, this is the place I must stop by.
The food is always fresh, full of umami, portions are generous and I always leave completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. If only they had a location in Melbourne - I would be there every day!
This is a rare find - a true gem of a restaurant. I never expected to become such a fan of Lao/Thai cuisine, but this place changed that for me.
If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try - you won’t be disappointed.
